Islamic Studies Classes

This is a mentorship program, mostly focused on the belief system based on the Quran and teachings of the Ahl-ul-bayt (a.s). You will also learn about Quranic Arabic and recitation, Islamic history, ethics (Akhlaq), and jurisprudence (Ahkam).

Pre-Register for Classes

Our classes focus mainly on the Quran and teachings of the Ahl-ul-Bayt [as]. Currently, we offer three 2-year programs: Foundation (F), Intermediate (I), and Upper-Intermediate (U). These programs have been specifically designed for Muslims living in the West who may be working/studying full-time. Therefore, weekly commitments for such sessions (including session, preparation, assignments, etc.) do not exceed 3 hrs/wk. 

Interested participants are placed in respective sessions based on their age group and background in Islamic studies, as seen in the table below.

Foundation

Aim

Equip participants with all necessary tools required for learning and practicing Islam.

  • Rules of Recitation of the Holy Quran (Tajwid)
  • History of Prophet[s] and Infallibles [as] (Tarikh)
  • Islamic Jurisprudence (Ahkam
  • Islamic Morals (Akhlaq)
  • Reminders about Imam al-Mahdi [atf] 
  • Skills necessary to serve Imam al-Mahdi [atf] via serving local communities (Holding events, writing, presenting, etc.)

Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate

Aim

Answer queries pertaining to Islamic theology (Aqaid) per the signature of Ahl-ul-Bayt [as] as opposed to other non-Imami schools of thought and atheists.
